what are our guests saying

  • Having joined Deadman Creek Outfitters as a member in the fall of 2008 I have found management to always be friendly and accommodating, as well as a good source of local hunting knowledge.

    - Roger W Greene
  • I've been a charter member of DCO for 20 years! It's not a cakewalk...but if you have a good dog and like to hike...you're going to have FUN!!

    - Steve Forsberg
  • The club offers lots of upland hunting opportunity for wild birds, as well as truly beautiful countryside. There also is plenty of access to public land for released and wild birds. Late season birds can be challenging but with effort are the most rewarding of all.

    - Roger W Greene
  • The property is vast and you can enjoy having fields to yourself or share with a friend from the club. It is what I like to call 'honest hunting'. You have to work hard to get your shots and those shots are seldom easy. Those hard flying, cunning wild roosters can be tough targets and tough to bring down. A good bird dog is a huge part of the fun and I have been lucky enough to have hunted over a couple of great flushing labs and now wonderful pointing dogs.

Who we are

Established in 1999 as a private hunting club for upland birds and deer, Deadman Creek Outfitters offers its members a complete southeastern Washington hunting experience.

The club presently manages the hunting rights to nearly 40,000 contiguous acres of private land in Garfield and Whitman counties. The land possesses a distinct character; from the rugged breaks of the Snake River to the rolling ridge tops covered in wheat, barley, and native grasses to meandering streams with fertile valleys and steep canyon walls. Easily accessible, though appropriately remote, this outstanding hunting club is located 20 miles north of Pomeroy, Washington and 100 miles south of the city of Spokane.
